Description

A delightful fusion of Asian flavors and classic tacos, featuring crispy wonton shells filled with teriyaki chicken and refreshing slaw.

Ingredients

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the wonton wrappers into a muffin tin, curving them to create a taco shape. Bake for 7-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and sauté until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Mix coleslaw and chopped green onions in a separate bowl.
  6. Assemble your tacos by placing the teriyaki chicken into the crispy wonton shells and topping them with the slaw.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken overnight in teriyaki sauce. Use gluten-free wonton wrappers for a gluten-free option.
