A delightful explosion of flavors encased in a crispy shell, this Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp is a quick and healthier take on a classic dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each shrimp into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure they are well-coated.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until shrimp are crispy and cooked through.
- While cooking, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in another bowl.
- Once the shrimp are done, toss them in the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra crunch, double-dip your shrimp or use panko breadcrumbs. Adjust the heat level with more sriracha if desired.
